Mobility Scooter services from £42 (Portable scooters)
Road and pavement scooters cost £62 to service. This includes the collection and return of your scooter. We will not preform any additional work without your consent.

A typical service takes about one and a half hours to complete. Below is a list of items and checks completed in a service.

Remove all the wheels and clean drive shafts, check the wheel bearings and apply copper slip or grease.
Check and tighten all suspension bolts , steering and transaxle fittings.
Check, clean and lubricate steering joints.
Remove motor brushes and clear excess carbon from the motor. Replace motor brushes if worn.
Check and adjust front tracking if required.
Examine scooter wiring to check for signs of chafing or exposed wires.
Clean / blow out dust from the scooter.
Clean battery contacts and motor contacts on portable scooters.
Inflate tyres to correct pressure.
Check lights, indicators and tyre wear.
Check throttle potentiometer.
Test magnetic brake.
Road test for any annomolies.
Some old scooters were made without a fuse to protect the battery wires. If we believe there to be any unsafe wiring, we would make a recommendation to fit fuses to both battery cables.
Deep cycle test on both batteries. This takes 6-8 hours to complete.
